Jacob Shneiderman is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, producer, and music teacher based out of Los Angeles, CA. Jacob is the leader of Jacob Shneiderman Group with Hidemi Akaiwa and Ransom McCafferty while pursuing a degree in Music Production and Engineering at Berklee College of Music. Jacob has performed with the Berklee South Asian Ensemble, Judah Dylan, Lola Bates, Marwan Boulaid, and many other artists in Los Angeles and Boston.

Jacob started playing guitar when he was ten years old. He took lessons with John Storie, focusing in blues, jazz guitar, and improvisation. Jacob started playing bass in orchestra and jazz band in middle school and high school, studying with jazz bassist and composer David Tranchina.

Jacob's influences span from classic and progressive rock, to jazz and fusion. Jacob fostered a love for production and music by being surrounded by the creative and innovative Los Angeles music scene, consisting of curious creatives who love their craft. Jacob Shneiderman continues to expand his musical taste in the studio and performing live playing bass, composing, producing, and engineering.
